About us
Adelaide Budget Cremations began because too many families were being handed a four-figure invoice for a farewell they never asked for. We thought a direct cremation could be simple, respectful and affordable at the same time — so we built a service around that.
We're South Australian owned and locally staffed. Our mortuary team and our transfer vehicles are all here, and the person who answers your call is the same person who follows your arrangement through.
Most of the families we look after choose a direct cremation and hold their own gathering later — at home, at the beach, or in a favourite pub. We think that's a lovely way to do it, and we'll happily help you plan around it.
We're a family-operated company, and our funeral directors provide honest and compassionate care so you can give your loved one the perfect goodbye. There are no hidden costs — the professional service fee, cremation fee and permit, essential care coffin, dignified mortuary care and death registration are all included, and you'll be told about any after-hours or weekend transfer fee before you commit.
We can also help you make arrangements for the ashes afterwards — whether you scatter them, keep them at home, or place them in a permanent memorial. Whatever aligns with your family's values, we'll help you sort it out. Ask us anything.

No jargon, no fine print you need a lawyer for. If we can't explain something simply, we'll keep trying until we can.
We only offer direct cremation, so there's no service package to be talked into. The total you see is the total you pay. If you're looking for a full funeral service, please contact Country Road Funerals - Adelaide No1 Funeral Home.
Your loved one stays with our team from the first transfer to the return of ashes. We don't hand them on.
Arrangements are made through the online form, because the registry and crematorium forms need your signature. If you need us to come out after hours to transfer your loved one, call our immediate assistance line — a person answers, not a queue.
